Here's the beginnings of a list of cooperative multi-player games on Playstation 2.

We get asked which Ps2 games are co-op play quite often. Also, as a parent I only let my kids play co-op console games together (for 1 hour a day max). We've found that they get along with each other better than when they are playing vs. games or 1 player games on separate consoles. We're also pretty strict on age ratings on the games that our chidren play so half of the games in the list are unsuitable (sorry kids). You should always check the age rating on the game before buying for children.

Legend:
TD  Team Deathmatch. Usually found in multiplayer menu and not normally part of the main game
CC  Co-op Campaign. Sits alongside single-player campaign



Most of these games are split-screen multi-player by default. Turn based games are a different animal and have not been in the list unless accidentally. Again, most of the games in the list have full story mode/main game co-op gameplay whereas some games may just have a co-op mode hidden in the multi-player menu along with Death-match and Virus (come back Timesplitters).
