I have decided to write a pushchair guide as I have had a few pushchairs, I would say pushing 200+.

My son is only 2 and a half but loves receiving parcels as he knows it is a new pushchair that he can try out.

The first pushchair I ever had was a Graco Travel System I couldn't even tell you what model it was as I really didn't know my pushchairs then.  It was one of the cheapest and all I could afford at the time, it was ok but since trying other makes and models I would have to say it was one of the worst pushchairs I have had. 

The Graco was too big and heavy and lifting in and out of a car after just having a C-Section was rather uncomfortable to say the least.

I would not recommend the Silver Cross Compact either it is very heavy and hard to maneuver with a larger child in it.  After a while they also tend to squeek a bit.

Micralite or any other pushchair with the smaller wheels at the front did not work for me I was always bending them in ways they were not meant to bend when I went down kerbs and so on, these never felt very strong to me.

The only one that I did like was the Mamas & Papas Ziko as this is made of a much tougher metal and the wheels at the front a very solid.

With Regards to Mamas & Papas I would always go for the PEG PEREGO make I don't know why they just seem to be better quality (even though Peg Perego manufacture the Mamas and Papas range)

Mamas & Papas/Peg Perego Pliko P3 Pramette - Fantastic for new borns as the baby can lay flat as is recommended from such a young age and as soon as they can sit up you can turn the whole pram around and it becomes the Pliko P3 and it is very easy to convert (quite heavy but worth it).

Mamas & Papas/Peg Perego Pliko P3 - I have had about 5 of these in different fabrics and chassis colours, it is just great, a nice big seat for the older child and a snack tray or bumper bar to keep them in their seat (again quite heavy but great when they are smaller).

Mamas & Papas/Peg Perego Aria - Great for the smaller baby I would say up til about 1 year old as the heavier they get the heavy the pushchair gets and being so lightweight it gets harder to push.

Maclaren Ryder - This is great for the older child as you can easily move it one handed even with a toddler in it, it also has high handles so is a comfortable ride for both you and your child.

Maclaren Quest - Pretty similar to the Ryder but a bit shorter on the handle height but comes in much cooler colours, again easy to push with a toddler in it and move with just one hand.

Maclaren triumph - This is a good little pushchair in every way except it does not have a leg rest, I found my little boy always liked the extra length in leg rests in case he did fall asleep as it is a bit uncomfortable having his legs dangle over the end of the pushchair seat.

Maclaren volo - Great holiday buggy with all the ease of the Maclaren Triumph, except there is no hood or raincover (unless you purchase the accessory pack).

Cheaper models that are very similar to the Maclaren Quest, Triumph and volo are all from Mothercare, you really couldn't tell them apart with regards to specifications but it is always nice the have a Maclaren as appose to a Mothercare stroller.

Mothercare Aulto Stroller = Maclaren Quest

Mothercare Tango Stroller = Maclaren Triumph

Mothercare Jive = Maclaren Volo

Anyway I hope this has helped someone out there make a decision about which pushchair to buy, I am still searching for the ultimate pushchair!!!!!!!

I have found my ultimate pushchair and I love it, Mamas & Papas Ziko, it is very very easy to push even with a 3 year old in it, good value for money, nice size seat and large hood, and come in some fantastic colours.
