Measure the size of the fuse & check the fuse specifications stamped on the metal ring of the fuse that you wish to replace. On the fuse's metal ring the fuse's specs will be (V) voltage of the fuse & (A) the rating in amps or milli-amps (mA). You may also see the letter T or F. The "T" indicates a timed delay or slow blow fuse. The "F" indicates a fast or non-timed fuse. If there is no T or F then assume that the fuse is non-timed or fast blow.

We carry these different type of Fuses

32mm Slow blow and fast blow fuses

20mm fast blow and slow blow fuses

Domestic plug fuses 3-13a

High power Car Audio 60A and 70A gold plated fuses

The size of the fuse IE  5 x 20mm means

5mm in diameter, and 20mm end to end.

Never use a larger fuse than your appliance needs

IE if it states 2A, never use anything higher than that, IE 3A or 4A etc, this could well lead to damage to your product.

The fuse is designed to the weakest link in your appliance, its cheaper to replace a fuse costing a few pennies than it is to replace the whole appliance.

250v fuses can be used in any lower voltage appliance, such as 12V or 125V appliances, they cannot be used in anything higher than 250V.

With lower voltage appliances. its the Amps that is important, not the voltage.

Most electronic appliances and power supplies are protected internally by these fuses, as are in car chargers for mobiles and sat nav.

Many people actually throw away a good laptop power supply or phone charger, or even a desktop PC because it has stopped working, and dont think to check the internal fuse.

A few pence spent now, could well save you a lot of money.

These fuses are used in many things including

DVD players

TV's

Radio's

VCR's

Etc, in fact almost anything that needs a step down transformer ( power supply) to run it from the mains supply
