I completely agree with comments re Zapp. I'm a pushchair freak so have bought and tried loads. I bought a Zapp when my bubs was 14 months and although I had seen other bubs sleeping quite comfortably upright, my son did not. I sold the Zapp a couple of months later (although it was a complete dream to push and folded oh so small), and got a Verve, which is great with a slight reclining seat but easily tipped by Grandma who will not use it now. (You need to hold on with both hands esp when up and down curbs !!) but this is a dreamy little thing to push. I still use the Verve sometimes. Now the Spider. For a compact pushchair it's great. Back wheels are quite wide but once you get used to not cutting corners it's fine. Not quite as light as the Zapp to push but very easy all the same. I love this one. Easy to steer, adjustable back rest, leg rest and handle height (great for tallies) and bubs loves it! Rain cover a bit tight around the foot area, shopping basket a bit small (big enough for baby supplies), but hey, these pushchairs are for short trips browsing around shops/centres not rambling, serious shopping and downpours! That's what the M&P 03 series advanced are for!
It's a shame there isn't a place where you can hire pushchairs for a few days because as I've found, they all seem perfect in the nice even floored shops but once you get them home and put them through their paces, they are not always what you wanted.
