Another scammer on eBay:
I quote: ''So I've found that even through eBay, fraud is possible. I purchased an xbox 360from seller, jam_robins. The seller was new to eBay, and had a story hat she purcased this for her ex, but they broke up and so she was selling the system. I bid and got excited because I won the system for $305 plus $12.50 s&h. I paid in two payments (monies had yet to be transferred to my PayPal account at the time of the auction's close), and the seller informed me that upon transfer of funds, she would ship and give me a confirmation number. On Sept 4 I received a message from the seller saying she was shipping and would email me right back with the number. I haven't had an email from the seller since. Even the number she provided to eBay was falsified.
I happened to check the seller's "other items listed" page and found something quite interesting. There were no active auctions, but when I clicked on the completed auctions page, I found the exact same auction I bid on, but it was for a higher bid. In fact, a different buyer won this time for $335 + $12.50 s&h. But what really takes the cake here is that the auction was listed on, you guessed it, September 4th. The day the money was transferred from the sellers PayPal to her bank account.
This posting is just to tell you to be wary of this seller, jam_robins. If you see a listing for "Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Go Pro" just keep moving on. I have filed disputes with both PayPal and eBay, reporting this seller as fraudulent and informing PayPal that I have loads of files for them to use as evidence for whatever action they choose to pursue.
Just wanting to put the word out.
