There seems to be a current market in people selling the limited edition live Raconteurs albums on eBay.

All good for them, but as a buyer you should so a bit of research before buying.

True, they are limited edition.
True, only 1000 will ever be produced.
True, each album/concert has its own cover design.
False, they are hard to acquire (at the moment).

I attended the gig last night (19th in Brixton) and indeed bought an album as a great memento of the night.
While doing so, I got talking to a person from ConcertLive who is producing the albums and he said that all left over albums from the night are available from their website until sold out.

So they are limited, but not yet rare!

I am all for fans acquiring memorabilia, cheap or hard to get items from their favourite band, but hate it when I, as a fan, am getting ripped off.
Do your research before buying from these non fans taking advantage of us!
