re the guide ive just read about postage charges,
I as a seller have to charge the postage plus the packaging comes to money and the time packing and going to post office is money!
especially after the new volume pricing rules came out :(
So when buying you must take these things in to account, plus we have to get something out of the deal ,maybe some sellers do take it a bit far ,they list an item at 99p and charge £3.50 postage and it only costs 50p to send it,thats how they make their profit
The bigger problem is sellers from china for example, they sell an item for 99p with £8 delivery charge,if they sell say 100 items a day, they will have an account a courier which means they pay maybe only £1 per item delivery, and the watch costs them 99p -so they make big profits from the postage(and evade ebay fees as well)
For example I bought a watch as a test and it came to 8.99 with courier charge,on receipt its a watch that you can get for £5 in any street market in the UK
But I think people are lured into thinking theyve got a bargain when they buy direct from China?
