A Guide from Lamps and Lights Restoration

A Ceiling Bowl light shade:

To restore your bowl you may need new hooks and or chain. A fine 3/8" chain is generally best (see below).

The chain is then attached to the ceiling via a 3 way hook:

This is then attached to your ceiling either directly to an existing ceiling rose or to a wooden pattress as shown above. This is then attached to the ceiling joist.

The light flex hangs from behind the triple hook and into the bowl with a chord grip lampholder on the end for your bulb:
