There is a big scam going on on EBAY and they seem to be completely careless.

This guy is offering piece of equipment LEICA ( ebay item number 280236795298) as 7 days auction. Then once people place their bids he is contacting them with very good offer that he can sell for £800 but payment needs to be made as MONEY GRAM. Some people don't know that MONEY GRAM and WESTERN UNION were banned as way of payment on ebay.

At the same time he sends fake email which looks like generated by EBAY saying that this seller deposited £1000 with EBAY and this amount is being held as guarantee of the transaction. 

Friend of mine tried to buy this item and sent the money. He never received the item. When he contacted ebay for compensation they told him that email was fake. He also reported this con artist to the police but the seem to be busy with other crimes. Apart from taking the details they have done nothing. It was bac in January.

What a surprise, the guy is back on ebay offering the same item but he registered under different ebay ID.

Please beaware!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not send any money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
