The look of your pages gives an impression of the care you put into your eBay.

The 'better' your entries look (ME Page / Auctions / Shops / Guides) the more people will 'trust' you and the more money you will make.  This guide deals with your identification image or Logo.

Although I don't have many 'stars' on this account, I am nevertheless an eBayer of seven years experience - I recently started a new life, and a new account to go with it. - Read on dear reader, read on!

The first ESSENTIAL thing I would suggest is, if you haven't already done it, that you set yourself an avatar or Trading IMAGE on your ME page.  This is very easy to do, simply click on your name at the top of one of your auctions, and click the add / upload image on the left where eBay put that AWFUL pink sillhouette! Some say that looking 'too professional' can harm your chances... I don't agree, but I can see that looking too big can put people off.  So my advice is, don't try to look like a big flash company is all!

There's nothing worse than having something 'standard' or 'default' on your pages. It says to the buyer - This Seller can't be bothered!  You don't have to have a picture of yourself - In fact that's not recommended unless you're Brad Pitt or something!  But a 'Company Image / Logo' is recommended to get yourself identified with your auctions, guides and shops throuought ebay.

The image should ideally be something to do with either your ebay name, what you sell, or in keeping with the themes you use for your auctions.  They should be approx the same shape as those above 2x3. What you're trying to do is get people's attention, create a little humour perhaps, or establish your identity.

There are plenty of pictures I'm sure on your computer that you can select one to be your 'corporate Image / Logo'.

For all those pics above I just looked through 'my pictures' and selected some that 'fit the bill'.

Don't fall at the first hurdle with your credibility!

Get yourself an image!

Thanks for your time, I hope I've been helpful!
