Both the Sharp XE-A102 and Casio 130CR are the ideal starter Cash Register and are the cheapest machine's available, the major difference between the two is the security; the Sharp has a key control lock - meaning only the person whom holds the key can reset the Daily Figures and change the Date/Time etc. As apposed to the Casio, which has a dial that turns - meaning anybody can turn the dial, doing Daily Reset reports when they shouldn't and changing the Date and Time of the machine. Apart from that the features are very similar, both have the same internal printer unit, same size drawer - with removeable coin section.

If personal preference is SECURITY then the Sharp XE-A102 is the better out of the two.
