Solar Powered Energisers

These units can be like the SS440e where the unit has its own rechargeable battery inside and the unit weighs only 2 kg and is ideal for all applications.  As with all rechargeable batteries its a good idea if you need to store the unit that you either store in sight of daylight or every month bring it out for recharing. Solar energisers also can be bought using a seperate solar pannel and conventional energiser but be careful small solar pannels just do not have the power to charge 12 volt batteries.  Just remember if you could power a battery from a £5-10 pannel then solar would be much more widespread in all applications.
