Some tips on moving and carrying your bench.  The benches are fairly heavy dependent on size.  A 90cm long bench may weigh 25kg+, whilst a 2.6m bench could weigh as much as 100kg+ therefore care must be taken when lifting and moving.  Dragging the bench could damage your floor and may weaken the legs.

Make sure your route is clear and free from obstruction and hazards.  Wear sensible footwear such as steel toe cap boots for maximum protection or a good solid flat shoe or boot.

Use two people as a minimum, one at each end.  Good communication is essential so you know where you are going and when to lift together.  Bend at the knees, keep your backs straight and lift to a standing postion in one movement.  Position the bench on a stable surface.

If you found this usefull or need more information then feel free to contact us.
