The PSP, what a STUNNING piece of kit!  The games are fantastic, the quality is as good as the PS2, the screen resolution is awesome, I was gobsmacked at the power in my hands when I got mine! the Japanese SHARP screen is the one to go for, it`s far better than the Samsung one (so I`m told!) - I have the Sharp screen version and it is absolutely superb.

plus you can watch movies, Photos, Browse the web, Listen to music etc and if you want homebrew, get a 2.0 version or less!

MULTI-PLAYER - WOW!! this is AWESOME!  playing your mates wirelessly at Ridge racer, Tennis, Wipout, Star Wars, Whatever!  - not sure what the range of the PSP is, but it is AMPLE - my mate when to one end of the train carriage, and I the other and I thrashed him at wipeout! :-)

Some people have commented on the battery life being low,  I`ve had about 10 hours from mine on a full charge, which in my opinion is pretty good. Though wireless multi-play obviously drains it that bit quicker.

PSP Vs Nintendo DS, no choice in my opinion, PSP whips it well and truly, yes it costs a little more, but the games, the option of movies, homebrew  etc etc etc make the PSP the ONLY choice

If you buy one, BUY A SCREEN PROTECTOR, the screen is very easily scratched, and for the sake of a few quid, you`ll be glad you did, and a case most certainly wouldn`t go amiss either!

The only downside is that you can`t store a great deal on the memory cards - 1 or 2 gig doesn`t go a long way anymore,  and the 4 gig "hard drive" is meant to be unreliable at the moment.  If you want to watch loads of movies etc, get a Archos,  if you want to play stunning state of the art games then the PSP is certainly for you!
