 If you find yourself not tanning as quickly as you might like, or you seem to have reached a tanning plateau, then if you don't already use cream I strongly suggest you do so!

Obtaining a tan with 'dry' skin is wasteful, as near on 75% of rays are simply reflected back off the surface, so as most creams and lotions contain oil, you can make sure you're getting your full UV Ray potential!

Which creams are best? Well known brands, such as Australian Gold are quite expensive ranging from £8 a bottle up to £45+.. Then there are known brands such as Emerald Bay, with their funky packaging, which are just as yummy smelling, and I think equally as effective. There are creams that claim to reduce cellulite and make you toned... if you believe that then you'll believe anything!

Creams come in different kinds, there is TINGLE, BRONZER, and COOLING.

Bronzers do what they say, giving you a nice sheen until your tan develops.

Tingle creams are like Marmite, you either love it or hate it.. The effect it gives you it a bit odd, as it certainly makes you go bright red as it increases the blood flow to your skin, but you'll also feel, well, tingly! I personally feel itchy and although I don't love the sensation, I put up with it because I definitley think it tans you quicker.

I have recently been a victim of a certain con-man on Ebay, who was selling cheap body lotion and baby oil mixed together in a moisturiser bottle at £19.99 buy it now price.. I however made an offer and got the amatuers concoction at £10... The guy claimed it "maximised your tan by 500%", was all this and that and retailed at £50.. Hmm, So I bought it out of curiousity- PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!

There are many sellers out there with really good prices for Emerald Bay, and Australian Gold, but if you don't wanna commit yourself to a bottle then just buy a satchet (around £5 for 5)off Ebay- tanning shops are so expensive, and if you like it then buy a bottle!!
