Of all the retro systems the snes and N64 have to be up there with the best all round consoles. The snes is my personal favourite console ever.

I'll explain why every serious or curious gamer should have one in their collection:

No loading times - you can't beat the cartridge format. Space is limited on carts but come on - ball goes out for a corner.... 15 seconds for it to load before you can take it - I dont think so.

Pure quality gaming experience - the graphics were great at the time but games had to be spot on. The snes has some of the best games ever made.

Mode 7 Graphics - I'm not sure what this is exactly but it has something to do with rotating the backdrops on games. As far as I know no one has ever mentioned this on other consoles so it must be good.

Great pad - the snes pad has 6 buttons and is well made.

I always look out for snes games, buy them, play them for a bit and then sell them on. If you are new to ebay, think about registering as a seller and sell your old games on. I tend to prune my collection every now and then and have a clearout of games I haven't played for a while. Its a great way of getting money in to buy new games.
