Had my new bike for a couple of months now and i'm loving it !! Had a road bike but was always into dirtbikes , so this was the perfect combination . Wanted something slower so that i would keep my licence , but still be fun to ride ! Not very comfy over distances but the fun factor soon makes you forget about your sore ass !

It will reach 90mph plenty quick enough if you want too ( so ive heard , obviously on a race track ! ) but is better tootling round A+B roads riding on the wave of torque ! Mine wont ever see a motorway unless its in an emergency , its not what these bikes are about ! But get it on your local backroads and have one almighty blast , you cant beat it for clearing your head and de-stressing you !

Looked at a KTM640Prestige and a Honda FMX650 Funmoto first before i test rode the DRZ ! The KTM was a bit too extreme and high for me ( i'm 5ft7 ! ) but was drop-dead gorgeous and had plenty of raw power , the FMX was comfy but slow and i was wringing its neck the whole testride ! The DRZ is the perfect mixture of both bike , it has the gorgeous looks of the KTM and makes good power but is reasonably comfy enough for a good days rideout ! I recently did from Glossop down the Snake Pass to Ladybower reservoir , over the bridge and back up the other side back to Buxton then over to Macclesfield via a B-road ( could be the B5014 ? ) then back to Buxton on the Cat And Fiddle all in a 4 hour blast covering over 140 miles ! Had a numb bumb but a massive grin ( dont get many of them now , just turned 40 ! ! )

Plenty relaxed enough for a new rider to enjoy and get to grips with but in experienced hands a formidable weapon ! Just remember to ride it in supermoto style , sat forward in the dip of the seat with your nuts crushed against the tank ! ! Good excuse for you to keep stopping and ogling the pure beauty of it , while your balls get back into shape ! There are plenty of aftermarket parts available to customise to your hearts desire and with such a wide range of parts its easy to personalise to your own style ( you can streetfighter it up or make it more dirtbike orientated ) . The panels are easy to change and you can mix+match the different colours with good effect , plus dirtbike stickers and panels will fit easily !

P.S

I dont work for suzuki , it really is a good bike !!!!!
