WHAM! Odhams. 1 20th Jun 1964-187 13th Jan 1968 (joins Pow!)
Highly collectible title, the first of the 'trinity', to be followed by Pow! and Smash! Fantastic Four reprints with Jack Kirby artwork begin at #112, starting a tradition of Marvel Silver Age reprints which would last throughout the 1960s and into The Mighty World of Marvel in 1972 and onwards. Earlier issues hard to find, especially in high grade. The front and back covers often don't line up nice and evenly. Some page edges stand proud and get worn and torn. Drives you mad. The free gift with #1 Wham Gun and ammunition would add £70-£90 to the value fairly easily, probably more.

WHIZZER & CHIPS. IPC/Fleetway. 18th Oct 1969-27th Oct 1990 (1,038 issues, joins Buster)
A very successful comic that was marketed as two comics in one - you could pull out Chips from inside so you were either a Whizz Kid or a Chip-ite. Can't remember what I was. The annuals lasted from 1971 (a tough one to get) up to 1992. There were Holiday Specials from 1970 to 1991. The free gift with issue #1 is hard to find intact: 12 Free Super Stickers. They tend to lose their stick and go a bit stained and transparent with age. Would add about £40-£60 to value if perfect

WORLD'S FINEST DOUBLE COMICS. Thorpe & Porter. 1 1967
These were bound-together remaindered copies of selected DC and Marvel comics with covers taken from original DC comics or sometimes new covers adapted from interior scenes. Very hard to find in Near Mint but often show up on E Bay in low and mid grade. Good reading value. To my knowledge there are 24 different Double Double Comics across a number of titles - Action, Adventure, Batman, Detective, Jimmy Olsen, Justice League, Lois Lane, Strange Adventures, Superboy, Superman and World's Finest. But I'm still looking!
