You may see lots of printer cartridges/laser toners/fax cartridges etc for sale with a note saying brand new never been opened. This is not always the truth.Brand new means recently manufactured not ,never been used.Use the analogy of eggs ,if you had some 12 months old, never been opened, still in the box etc. Get my meaning?

Most manufacturer change the design of the packaging regularly,so old stock can be quickly identified .so beware of items not in original packing .Any install dates are printed on the outer boxes and brand new cartridges have up to two years shelf life. This doesn.t mean thy wont work, you just need to be sure of what you are buying.

I have just had another look at this guide and I would like to add this,.

Sellars are using words like original, genuine, and other phrases that make you think they are new ,then you will see the word compatible.Watch out!  am trying to get ebay to outlaw this practise
