This is a guide for our potential buyers or any other people who have had similar problems with paypal explaining the reason why we have stopped accepting paypal as a payment method in our listings.

We have been buying and selling on ebay for a while now and have been selling printers and other high value goods over the last month, during this time we have been accepting paypal as a payment method and everything has been going fine untill a week ago when paypal decided to block our account and put it in resolution, we were asked to send over documents that we had already provided to them when we set up the account with them initially.

But even after having explained this we were told to send it again even if the information is exactly the same as nothing has changed. The documents were sent to them the next day in the morning however a few days later they asked for proof of postage for 6 items that had been sold in the last 24 hours so even after explaining that these items had not even been sent off yet i still booked them in and provided the tracking details to them.

A few weeks later i still do not know why my account was blocked and when it will be back up and running again but worst of all i do not have any guarantee that this will not happen again, a business that has to stop trading like this without warning will eventually lose its customers as this is beyond our control.

Customers also find it very worrying if a seller was previously accepting paypal and suddenly has stopped accepting it as there could be fraud involved. Having taken all this inot account we have decided that we no longer accept paypal as a payment method due to paypal blocking without warning or any reason at all our account and as it is stated in paypal terms and conditions paypal has the right to block an account without any reason at all whenever they want and there is nothing we can do.

We would like to send our sincere apologies to our customers for this change however we can still offer the following payment methods: Bank transfer, Postal order and cheque. We offer our customers a 7 days money back guarantee on receipt of item so this allows our customers to have plenty of time to inspect the item. We have very good feedback as we honour and respect our customers, even if we no longer accept paypal we are confident that we can still provide a excellent service and our buyers have absolutely nothing to be concerned about as we are honest sellers that just happen to have been messed about with paypal's unsecure and illegal business practices.
