The Bird
(A comics guide..or:- No Pets, Aren't We Not Just British?)

Auction goers always look for the cheapest.

Here's how being there goes wrong:

The Seller (auctioneer) offers something he is given to sell.

The buyer mistakenly interprets his sentiments by the very fact he/she is offering it as worth something - well, the buyer has to return with something ! It's a pup, or a dog's life eventually, and another trip to the recyclers.

Here is one example (hypothetical - it never happened) of Mrs X-Hyphen-Right, as surely follows:-

Taken by the new fashion of denim tweed or Denham's feed (there was once a film studio at Denham, Bucks - just a hypotheseis not currently in-vogue). She knew breeding never came cheap, and so...

She avoided all which started at one penny, or a hundred quid !

She went for what started the dearest and won - everyone courted her leaving eBay's Way Out, and offered them a hundred more cheaper.

She is still selling those them, and advertising them when they've had enough.

But they all bought pups, the biggest bargain in sales were all of Mrs X-Hyphen-Right's. She had the commision on the lot. Except, that is, The Bird.

A pup is for life and never ever on eBay - cherish it like it's only for Christmas - like you're only for Christmas.

I wouldn't have the dog myself.

Mine? A Bird - would have to be save not a pet for eBay
