The very first 'numbered' Limited Edition handbag produced by RADLEY was named the 'Cottage' bag which became available at the end of 2004 (shown below).
Made predominately of soft black leather of the highest quality and featuring a hand-stitched appliqued design that depicts a country scene showing our little friend RADLEY amongst the sheep.
On the reverse side is the wording 'Limited Edition' plus two little sheep that appear to have 'escaped' from the rest of the flock!
Only 500 of these bags were ever produced and each bears it's own individual serial number on the inside of the bag (see above).
The bags were sold gift-boxed with an accompanying registration card for you to complete and return to RADLEY to obtain your individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
Probably RADLEY's most sought after design that continues to rise in value - although not as exclusive as the more recent 'Walk In The Woods' Limited Edition bag that was only produced in numbers of 250!
A year ago you could pick one of these up for around £350 in brand new & unused condition, but 12 months on they are already commanding prices in excess of £500-£600 and rising.
Generally, the lower the serial number the higher the price you can expect to pay!
