I recently bought a twin pack of bras for £17.49 including postage advertised on ebay as 'Triumph' - a make I have worn for the last few years. The ones from the department stores are great - really supportive, the fabric is really tough, not too stretchy, especially at the sides.
Well, these bras are labelled 'undertones' (no mention of 'Triumph') and are not uplifting, in fact they are really quite flaccid and do not improve ones profile or décolletage at all. I asked for a refund but the seller refused.
I contacted Triumph International Limited and their response was:
'the Undertones range of bras are produced by Triumph International Ltd - but they are not sold under the Triumph Brand. They are, in fact, produced under contract for a specific customer as a "bargain" line and would not be available in the normal retail market'.
So I made a Paypal claim through 'Dispute Console' because the item was 'not as described'.
Paypal found in my favour & I received a refund of the £17.49.
Ebay sellers say that they are selling Triumph bras at a fraction of the cost on the High Street when they are actually selling bargain lines that are not available on the high street.
These bras are definitely not the quality one would expect from a good bra brand.
My advice for now: BUYER BEWARE of BRA BRANDS.
