I only use a baby walker for when i have to do some work in the kitchen, about ten minutes or so. The baby walker is for my granddaughter.  She spends no more than 10 minutes in it, in any given time.  She spends most of the time playing with her toys in the front room, without the walker. 

The walker i use, is also able to be used as a lowchair for feeding. 

If people are sensible and don't leave their child in it for hours at a time, i can see no problem with them.  At the end of the day, it's up to the parents to decide.
