At a first glance it is easy to assume that this dress is too common and simple, but the opposite is true. The pattern itself may be simple to understand and implement, however the dress itself can be adjusted to your own taste really easily, the dress fits well onto the female form, outlining the areas which are most femine as the waist, hips and inevitably the bust. It flatters all areas. One thing, I will say about this dress is that, depending on your age or taste you may find the neckline a bit too open and free and may feel the need to make it more snug and secure. Personally I didn't and I left the pattern unaltered. Many types of fabrics may be used to make this dress, however sheer fabrics will need an under dress or fabric layer, which makes it a little bit more complicated. All I can say, without being overly biased is that, I truly do love this dress. I am a beginner in terms of my sewing skills and even I found this dress easy to make. It is not time consuming to make either, I completed everything in half a day (the cutting, pinning and sewing).

I truly enjoyed making this dress, hopefully you will too.
