Many people have contacted me to say they have been scammed by web sites who sell fake Decker UGG Australia boots. These sites often have no physical address, are nearly always based in China (even if the web address is .uk) and will sell you fakes and in some instances take your money and send you nothing. The sites often have a scrolling panel which purports to list customer names, order status and tracking numbers - hardly a sign of a professional company. Examples of such sites, which all use variations of the name, (and which are being invented on a daily basis) are:-

These site typically sell boots for £75 to £85 for boots worth about £10 - that's assuming you get anything at all. For UK customers, you are also likley to have your boots impounded by UK Customs & Excise or else pay a whopping £40 or so in import costs, VAT and Post Office charges. You can spot these guys as there is no physical way of contacting them. If the only means is email then forget it - they will be fake dealers! If there's a phone number - try it first to see if its real! IF you are not sure then do a domain name check - if its registered in China then guess what - its a scam.
There are also many emerging internet sites that use the same style of web page and again are dodgy dealers - examples are ajdshoes.com. A useful place for information on which sites are total scam in that they send you nothing is the website ripoffreport.com - enter UGG in the search panel and you will see some of the latest scams.
One source of many of the fake boots sold on eBay is "Replica Tycoon". Key this into Google and you will see that they are openly selling wholesale quantities of fakes of many premium branded goods. Of late many of these ripoff sites say "we do not sell Decker UGG Australia Boots" or "we are not associated with Decker Outdoor Coproration Inc" yet their pictures use the registered UGG Australia logo!! Do they think we are daft?!
If you think you may have bought a pair of fakes and want some help then two pieces of advice. Best way is to take the boots to a reputable retailer (in the UK - Jones The Bootmaker, Kurt Geiger and The Office are examples - in the US, try Nordstrom) and compare them side by side. The other way is to go to authenticforum.com and put some pictures up - there seems to be many people here who will offer you a view.
The best way to avoid being ripped off is not to buy fakes in the first place. The best advice I can give you here is to be guided by price. NOBODY is going to give you a huge discount on any premium branded goods (e.g. UGG Australia, Tiffany, Gucci, Luis Vuitton etc) as the supply is always highly regulated in order to support the high price and feeling of "exclusivity". The makers of fakes take the trouble as they know that people's judgment is blinded by the chance to grab a bargain. There's really only one rule for buying premium brands - if the price sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
PS The authentic Deckers UGG Australia web site is uggaustralia.com - where you can see pictures of current styles (and colours) and also approved stockists by town/city.
