Many people ask us the difference between open coil sprung mattresses and pocket sprung mattresses.

Well if you can picture lots of individual springs standing upright, and each spring is within a fabric pocket, well that’s what pocket sprung means. Each spring on it's own isn't actually very firm, but because there are so many they give you excellent support due to the fact that they contour to your body.

Open coil means that there are usually only around 360 springs (for a double mattress). Each of the springs is linked together within a wire frame. These are the traditional type of springs that are usually cheaper than pocket sprung.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU FIND THIS GUIDE HELPFUL OR NOT.
