We have decided to write this guide regarding auctions which state

'Brand New with Tag'  (or 'BNWT')

We have noticed some confusion over what the 'tag' actually refers to.

It's the cardboard 'swing' tag which is attached to some new clothing which would state such details as the price or size etc NOT  the stitched in  makers label, normally found at the back of the collar or waist of a skirt.

The inner stitched in label, on the other hand, is normally removed as a matter of abiding to UK regulations (Most eBay sellers should ensure their garments have had the stitched in label removed, unless the product has been purchased under license). This is done to prevent fraudulent returns to High Street Stores.
