Selling the right product/Item

So your thinking of selling on Ebay?  You think you have what it takes to make some good money selling on ebay?  You have some spare time on your hands? Then Yes selling on ebay is a good idea.

But the BIG QUESTION is whatr should I sell?  Well ideally you should find a HOT item in a HOT market.  For eaxample the Xbox 360 went off to a flying start, some people were paying up to £1000 just for the core (basic) system.  So finding a HOT item is deffinetly key to success.

I know, easyier said then done right? No WRONG!  All you  need to do is keep your eyes and ears open.  One place you can look is ebay pulse.  Here you can see what's HOT and what's NOT on ebay at the moment.  You will normally find games consoles like the Xbox and Playstations are some where in the list.

Another good idea is to ask around, ask your kids, or friends and see what everyone's talking about at the moment.  It just might happen you have or can get something that other people want and are willing to pay good money for.

I personnaly jumped on the Xbox 360  craze, I was lucky enough to walk into my local Game store and find them selling the packages of consoles with four games for about £450 each  I immediately bought two consoles with 8 games for £900 (luckly i'd been saving) I then went and sold both consoles for £455 each.  So as you can see i made £10 on the sales and kept 8 games worth £50 each for my self.

Get the point?  If you keep your eyes open you might just see a deal right infront of you that you might not have taken any notice of  before.

So what should you look out for?

• Closing Down Sales
• Bulk Purchase Discount Offers
• Items that are destined to sell out (like the Xbox 360)
• Items you know you can get on the cheap
• Car Boot Sales
• Local Paper (classified Section)

To check if an item should sell, or is HOT  you can view simmilar items on ebay and you can check for ended (completed) listings only,  this will give you a better idea of how much you should be selling them for.
