Just a thought I have, you are looking for a cheap PS2 that is faulty? There are hundreds listed, which one do I buy...

Think about this - most Fat Boy PS2 have been around - for 8 years, and are needing new Lasers? How much is a Laser? £25 - £36, how long has the Original Laser lasted - chances are over 5 years or so (not counting chipped as this shortens the Laser life)

Most Slimlines are between 2 - 4 years old How long has the Laser lasted around 2-3 years or so if looked after... Cost around £10 - £15

So in my book, Fat Boy Lasers are more reliable - so go for a faulty Fat Boy - costs more to fix, but likely too last twice as long, also most sellers for some reason? will not include the Power Adaptor for the Slim, why??

Beacuse 2 reasons A. They are getting a PS2  Slimline Console only B. They are greedy and split the Power unit from the console and sell it separately, so now you need a Laser & a Power Unit... cost £8 + £10, plus P&P OK still cheaper...  but lasts half the time of a Fat Boy, OK this is a rough idea, even if the Fat Boy has no Leads, its still cheaper in the long run.  Mains lead £2, TV Lead £3 Controller £5.

Maybe the slim are more popular, but which you buy?? A Ford, or a Mini Metro, I know which I would go for - think about it!!!

Suppose it comes down to why you want it?  keep or sell on, if to sell on a Slim is Best for yourself a Fat Boy.  I have had Fat Boys that i kept for myself - still going!!!

Think about it!!!!
