Why is my Vacuum not sucking.....?

There could be a number of reasons why your machine is not running correctly could be a blocked hose but most of the time it is down to three key areas Bags, Belts & Filters

When Does my Vacuum dust bag need to be replaced?

Plan to change you vacuum bag every month, the fuller the bag the less suction you vacuum will be able to provide.

When Does my Vacuum belt need to be repaced?

Belts are made of rubber and will stretch & wear out. The belt turns the brush roll thousands of revolutions per minute. The tighter or newer the belt the better the vaccum will perform. The belt should be replaced every six months. Its an easy DIY job but always refere to your owners manual.

When Does my Vacuum filter need to be repaced?

It depends on the type of vacuum and filteration on the model you own. HEPA filters should be replaced every six months to maintain peek filtration. The small fabric filters that cover the back of the bagless cassette can be rinsed out and dried toughly then put back into place. After a year they should also be replaced. The washable HEPA filter, available on some cleaners, should be cleaned every 8 weeks. Anytime you rinse or wash the filters make sure they are dry before placing them back into the machine

What is HEPA filtration & why is it important

HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. It is a filtering efficiency specification for filters developed by the Atomic Energy Commission during World War II to efficiently remove radioactive dust from plant exhausts. HEPA filtration is very important to all of us especially if you suffer from dust related sensitivities.

Conclusion:

To get the most out of your cleaner & prolong it lifespan you need to keep on top of you maintenance.

Replace your vacuum bag every month, replace your belt & Filter every six months

Where do I buy my Belts, Bags & Filters from?

Ebay shops offer a real saving over high street shops together with delivery to your door so ebay wins hands down.

Hope this has been helpful & happy Vacuuming......
