This is a quick guide to wiring the latching relays we sell in our shop. They are used with our stainless mini buttons, or any other momentary button, i.e. one that connects only when pressed, to e.g. change between high and low headlight beam.
Pin 30 +ve feed straight from the battery, or from the ignition switch
Pin S should go to the mini button, the mini button should then ground this connection when pressed.
Pin 56a goes to the high beam of the bulb (+ve feed)
Pin 56b goes to the low beam of the bulb (+ve feed)
Pin 56 is the +ve feed from the lights on/off switch
This applies to the latching realays that we sell, other relays may be different.
