If you have a problem getting your XT600 to fire up with a hot engine, which is a common fault, try this. Turn off the fuel tap and let the engine die through fuel starvation, then simply turn the fuel tap back on, preferably get the piston to TDC, and it will start first kick., mine does.I think if you dont do this, the fuel in the float chamber vapourises and fouls the spark plug, making it a swine to start.  I hope this will be a help to someone.Cheers.
