Burn Times For Wax Tarts, Samplers, Jars & Tea Lights
Wax Tarts: Burn Time: 8 hours.
Please note that wax tarts are NOT candles, as they don't have wicks. They are designed to be melted in a tart burner only! This is similar to an oil burner, but with a deeper top, to enable the tart to melt safely, without running over, as it may do in an oil burner.
Don't throw away your wax tart after one melt!
You should be able to have 8 hours of fragrance, I find that if you use 2 tealights worth of burning time, which usually last 4 hours each, you will be able to get the full value of your tart, you might be able to use a 3rd tealight, but you will know yourself when the fragrance has gone.
You don't have to let your wax tart burn for 8 hours all at once, when you have had enough fragrance, just blow out your tealight, and relight it, or use a new one, when you want another fragrance boost!
When you think that there is no fragrance left, let your tart go cold and solidify, and either put it in the fridge or freezer for 10/15 minutes, you will then be able to pop the wax out of the top of your tart burner, DO NOT try and prise the tart out with a knife, or any sharp object, as you will damage your burner, making it very unsafe to use. You should find, that if you follow the instructions, the wax will pop out very easily, if it still sticks, which is usally rare, what I do is use the tip of a rounded spoon to gently tap it out.
Please note that some tarts may have crumbling around the edges, this is normal, and does not affect the burn quality, or the fragrance of the tart.

CLEANING JAR CANDLES:
Should the mouth of a jar candle become blackened, simply extinguish the flame, allow it to cool, and carefully wipe the rim with a dry paper towel. You can minimise this by keeping the wick trimmed to 1/8”

2 Wick Cylinder Jars
These jars are a new design and have a brushed metal lid
They have two wicks which give you more fragrance, but not more burn time than the large/medium housewarmer, due to a two wick burn, this design helps the candle to burn more evenly, see times below.
Please be aware that although these jars, may have more wax in them, than the standard jars, they do NOT give you more burn time, due to the two wicks, they give you more fragrance, any SELLER saying otherwise is MISLEADING you. See Burn times below. (there is a seller on Ebay, saying these jars have more burn time than the big 22oz jars, you are being mislead 22oz jars burn for up to 150 hours, 22.7oz cylinders burn for up to 90 hours)
Large 2 Wick Cylinder Jars: 22.7oz: Burn Times 70-90 hours.
Medium 2 wick Cylinder Jar: 12.5oz: Burn Times 40-50 hours.
