having read several guides about Pay-Pal.
I thought I would write my own. i have sent several messages to pay-pal about payments not received but when you check on e-bay it show payment sent from buyer. but yet for the last few payment i have had through pay pal it seems to take up to 2 days for an instant payment to clear.
i do not send goods out until i can confirm payment , but surly this is not fair to my buyers up to press only got good re-views.
but this could go the other way and make other people think that i cant be trusted to sell on e-bay .
i have contacted pay-pal and e-bay about this problem but still no reply,........would seem if you have a problem that cant be given and automatic response from there server you just don't get a reply at all. anybody else had a problem like this one ???
the other thing about Pay-Pal is there charges the other day i sold an item on e-bay i said not to bit over 0.01GBP as the item was free and just pay postage of 0.50GBP .
So seller sends 0.51GBP to my account 
pay-pal takes   0.22GBP from my account. (charges for overseas buyer) so they say!!!!
Postage cost    0.38 GBP

Plus when you take into account the cost of listing this item was it really worth it....!
not bad of some thing i was giving away free if buyer paid postage. and why don't e-bay offer service were you can list items for free + postage to buyers.  
be careful watch those charges because as you know pay-pal is part of e-bay so really they sting you twice. for the same item.

THE ABOVE PROBLEM WITH PAYMENT NOT BEING CREDITED TO PAY-PAL WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE PAY-PAL SERVER IT WAS NOT RESPONDING TO BUYER PAYMENT (WELL THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD ME WHEN I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS,
WELL IT SEEMS TO BE SORTED OUT FOR THE TIME BEING , LET'S HOPE NO MORE PROBLEMS.
