Hi i bought a pram from linz21uk of hull back in may 06, I paid her £150 via paypal and she quickly took the money. I got an email from her saying she would post first thing the following day and that she had even paid towards the postage herself. ( sweet person) BUT SHE HAD NO INTENTIONS OF SENDING THE PRAM. She started ignoring my emails and had provided ebay with a false address and tel no.

I paid online to track her down to an address in hull but miles away from where she said. I even spoke to her on the phone where she totally denied being linzy Hull and said she had just moved house. I Don't think so as she was on the voters roll. I reported her to ebay and even gave them all her new details, they told me to claim through paypal.I did this and they gave me £4.24 back as she had withdrawn the funds already knowing EXACTLY what her intentions were.

I then got told to involve the police as it was classed as FRAUD, this i did and they took all her details and said they would look into it for me. I then had a letter form them saying that it was not worth there time to investigate her BUT SHE  WOULD BE PUT ON FILE WITH THEM FOR SUSPECTED FRAUD. They have now said that they have to wait for somebody else to report her before they will take ACTION. so all i am asking is that if this has happened TO YOU and it involves her then please contact me and we can try to get our money back through the police.

It really makes me mad that ebay say paypal is the safest way to pay?? clearly not for me as i will never get my money back and she is £150 better off and laughing at the whole system.

I work for a bank and deal with fraud on a regular basis and this to me os still FRAUD but not according to the police as she is not commiting it enough for them to investigate.

Please please let me know if you too have become a VICTIM OF linz21uk and we can make her pay the hard way with a criminal record.
