key points to think about,do u really want to make this a full time effort? when starting,i really didn,t think about what this ebaying would entail,you really need to study the actual market you will be selling to,this is a full time effort ,a job in fact if you intend to make a go of it,i have found it really hard actually,most buyers who do not sell,look at us sellers as if we own a shop,maybe not thinking ,in fact ,were actually doing this because we,re trying to make ends meet the same as them,there readily waiting to put us down not  give us the benifit of the doubt,things do get easier as your feedback grows,but untill then ,i,d advise strongly,to get all items you,ve sold sent recorded ,via royal mail,special if over £30-value,proof of most smalll under £10 items ,but do check buyers feedback,as a buyer ,you really do have alot more way, with paypal,i really think this unfair we have prooved our trust and still ,buyers rights seem so much stronger ,ive been a 99.9% trusted ebayer of high powerseller status, the0.01 % a customer who actually was wrong in fact,but check who u r selling too, your status is your respect ,

you do have the right to stop bids if your worried and block certain bidders

,it really took me a while to figure out this,im sure ive lots more i,ll learn,but,remember you will have your hard earned money taken by paypal as a seller if your buyer decides to cause a problem,wheather you are right or wrong, 

so,get all items with tracking have details at hand when someone is complaining,i  always thought recorded etc expensive its not,i wish i,d of realised earlier

seller protection beware when your a seller,verified,excellent past sales,i got a reptitable company,courier,to dispatch a very expensive car part,i got tracking no.s etc done all i could as a verified seller,paypal took all the money back and ive no parts,i prooved my dispatch etc.........how am i protected,even i got a charge??????????

MY EXAMPLE,WHILST PACKING AN ITEM I  SOLD,I BROKE BY MISTAKE,IMMEDIATLY,I CONTACTED THE BUYER ,EXPLAINED FULLY,REFUNDED AND RANG ALL MY CONTACTS TO TRY AND REPLACE,..WHY???JUST TO BE LEFT BAD FEEDBACK.,THIS IS NOW ON MY RECORDS AND WHY?BECAUSE I WAS HONEST.WHAT DID I DO WRONG ,OR WHY DID BUYER FEEL THE NEED FOR THIS? HOPE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANY GENUINE PEOPLE,EMMA

another note if you leave feedback as you sell,(many dont bover,quite annoying)its quite useful,because  you can check your previous history via feedback to remind youself,how your buyer acted after receiving your item,if they never left feedback,dont bover for them,are they extra fussy???worth it ..dont you think.did you honestly know you had sent a good,described item?fair price?did they dispute?   check...
