If you are thinking of buying a cheap lcd tv DONT,you my be lucky and it will last forever and a day but usually it wont,if you look on ebay for lcd tv spares or repairs you will see the same makes coming up for sale i.e mikomi,venturer,wharfedale etc,the same names also appear as refurbished tv`s(ones the suppliers were unlucky enough to get back under guarantee and try to sell again)also makes with strange unusual names akashu,beko and the like are all made as disposable tv`s and the repair man won`t touch them with a barge pole,even the bush brand which is an old english name is crap and made abroard,have a look on the john lewis website ,see the brands a trusted name sells,you can`t go far wrong.
