Most model railways enthusiasts like to buy and sell, and sometimes this means buying a few spare parts to keep locomotives running.  But it is so very sad, is it not, that one or two so called enthusiasts are steadily buying up more and more late model Hornby Dublo locomotives, still in good working order, and then taking them to bits to sell each part for profit. And so, season by season, fewer people can buy these fine models , as so many are being ripped apart in the name of profit.  Surely the products of Binns road in Liverpool are as much part of our national heritage as our cathedrals and  transport museums, and should be respected as such, so that as many people as possible in future generations  will then be able to appreciate the fine quality of these models.
