I purchased a peugeot 406 from this man and the description states 112,000 mile. The speedo shows 122,800.

Radio was hanging out and not fitted.

Description states new discs and pads not true.

But main problam gearbox seized after 230 miles on the day of collection

I contacted seller Chris and offered to pay for fitting of second hand box if he paid £100.00 for box--he agreed and since then nothing He has ignored my phone calls .and e mails.

I am also note that the mileage on the MOT fail was 122812 on the 18th August and when MOT passed on the  7th september was only 122817.

The direct distance from one MOT station to the other is 4 miles,

Ther is also severe knocking from rear suspension so I have asked for the car to be re-tested by VOSA.

I am now instigating a dispute so that ebay can investigate incorrect descriptions and misleading information and witholding information regarding the gearbox.

The car was bought for spares or repair on e bay on the 8th August and needed a new engine according to the seller.

They stated that the mileage was 110,000

I have now received a negative because the gearbox seized as a result of my bad driving.
