Do not be fooled by sellers who state that engravings can be removed by jewellers as this is not always possible , it can be very expensive and depending on the quality of gold it can weaken it , i.e any gold other than 9ct is weaker.

i have purchased gold items that have been engraved and have used the Birmingham jewellery quarter to have engravings removed, not always possible and have resorted in scrapping the items sometimes at a costly loss
