once your tank is up and running. and you have a good air supply. never rip it apart. the system will get bettet with age. one of my tanks has been set up for two years and still got the same fish but bigger.                                                                                                        only feed the fish once a day. and every three weeks leave them for a week to clean the tank   . any problems please email me and i will give you your answer to any problems regarding the fish or water or filters
