For anyone thinking of buying a Lay-Z-Spa from Bestway I have had mine since December and am now awaiting delivery of my third pump, despite being told the second one was 'improved'.  It appears the helpline is staffed by one person and she can only offer replacement products, they advise me as this product was new last year there are 'some' teething problems.  It appears to me to be having major teething problems.  It is brilliant when it works but this last time it only worked for two weeks.  They are now issuing recommendations that you should consider turning off the heater for a period of time then on again, despite the fact this would reduce the temperature and they dont advise that on their advert (I wonder why).  My advise would be even though they are financially cheap dont buy until they advertise the fact they have fully resolved these faults.  It appears reading the other threads that this is an ongoing problem.  Update 3/5/07  - 3rd pump stopped working on 11th April 2007 surprisingly none in stock and they are now advising that you turn it off for 8 hours don't use it when it's below 4 degrees and keep it covered all the time, they had none in the country and were waiting for 'new improved ones'.  Had to wait two weeks but it arrived eventually this is an exceptionally un reliable product which the seller and Bestway are refusing to refund I would not recommend this product at all.  Update 16/05/07  Surprisingly the pump has lasted only 2 weeks before it has failed again coming up now with the END error which isn't even in the manual, not going to bother replacing it again particularly as the electric bill has arrived at £250 for 3 months, alot of this will be due to all the replacement pumps and having to re heat again and again from cold, however even their own helpline are now advising to turn it off for a period to allow it to rest and to help keep electric costs down.  Now packed away in the garage which is a shame and in the hands of Visa and Trading Standards, my advice to anyone is if your having problems don't just ring Bestway helpline keep on at the seller!!!!!.  And more reviews from other sellers will assist us all I cannot believe that there are 'alot' of working ones without problems out there.
