new postage rates in the UK : eBay Guides

on 21st august 2006 royal mail are introducing a new size related pricing scheme. It will affect all UK mail up to 1kg in weight. There will now be 3 categories

- small letter

-large letter

- packet

.If you are sending an item larger and/or thicker than a birthday card (on average) IT WILL NOW COST YOU MORE!!

However overseas mail is not affected.

This will affect a huge amount of items currently on sale. Sellers make sure you are aware of the new pricing structure and buyers watch out for the increases when bidding.

Royal Mail is sending everyone a guide through the post or you can pick up one in your post office. More info is also available on the royal mail website.
