JUST A THOUGHT TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL.

AS A  SELLER & BUYER, I AM VERY SUSPICIOUS & NERVOUS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE THEIR FEEDBACKS "PRIVATE"

WHY ???????????

WHAT HAVE PEOPLE TO HIDE?

 AS A SELLER, I LIKE TO VIEW MY BUYERS FEEDBACKS, IF I SEE TOO MANY NEGS, I COULD IF I WISH, CANCEL BIDS AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION IN READING THE REST OF THE BUYERS FEEDBACKS, HOW CAN I DO THIS WHEN ALL COMMENTS MADE ABOUT THEM ARE "PRIVATE" ?

 LIKEWISE, WHEN I LEAVE FEEDBACK TO SOMEONE WHO IS "HIDING" I THINK "WHATS THE POINT "? IF I WISHED TO LEAVE A NEG/POSITIVE, I WOULD WANT EVERYONE TO SEE HOW UNHAPPY/HAPPY I WAS WITH THAT PARTICULAR PERSON AND THE REASONS WHY, AS THEY WOULD ME !

I THOUGHT EBAY WAS ABOUT "HONESTY"  "INTEGRITY" & ABOVE ALL, "COMMUNITY"?  AND I JUST DONT SEE THE POINT IN ALLOWING MEMBERS TO WITHOLD THEIR FEEDBACKS ............................. UNLESS, OF COURSE THEY DO HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE, IN THAT CASE, WHY ARE THEY ON EBAY AT ALL?

 THEY ARE EXCLUDING THEMSELVES FROM THE REST OF THE EBAY "COMMUNITY"

I have had 2 people contact me (names obviously with-held) to tell me that they have made their feedbacks private because they have had stalkers ! One poor woman told me that her stalker contacted someone she had bought off, pretending to be her "to confirm postal address as item had not been received" the seller then gave her address to the stalker....................... we can only guess what happened.

My stance is  however, still the same............ all you Ebayers out there with private feedback should create yourselves an about ME page, in this page you should give brief explanation as to your reasons behind your decision to remain annonymous with feedbacks. As a seller, i would be very happy to see that, it would make you more human and include you into the Ebay community. XXXXXXXX

It is with great delight that i read on Ebay message board today that Ebay have agreed to abolish private feedback for members who sell. This is great news ! This is a brave move by Ebay and is to be commended.

NO MORE SHADY DEALERS, WITH EVEN SHADYER FEEDBACK ! Like someone who contacted me recently (name obviously witheld), She gave me a load of abuse (and i mean abuse) for daring to speak up, She sells on Ebay, Has private feedback (of course), only registered since JAN this year, and has 7 NEGS already !  HMMmmmmmmmmmmm Will be interesting to see what others have thought of her............................................. LOL !
