the sega mega drive is a ideal start for anyone interested in collecting retro gaming  consoles. the reasons are... 1. the consoles can be picked up for very little money. 2. it has a vast library of very good gaming classics like any sonic game of gunstar heroes. 3. for the more interested in upgrading and exploring new games pick up a mega cd or 32x.. the console has very easy to figure out control pads and durability with them. in conclusion i highly reccomend the mega drive as a start to any game collection.
