Hello I am  Ria I am writing this to try help explain  SMASHBOX PRIMER~ Classic Photo finish, COLOUR CORRECTING PRIMERS, SPF15 & DERMAXL, Smashbox starlight whitening primer, last and the latest isSmashbox Primer Light for oily combo skin types removes shine NEW will cover this in full ASAP but it really is wonderful for anyone wishing to be shine free from brides to teens. READ ON FOR THE INFO THE OTHERS

I am a fully trained and qualified beauty Therapist. I am trying to remove the hype, which i loathe. As why waste money on yet another beauty product that isnt right for you?

I always try to help as much a possible with advice and recomend what works rather than just what i sell!

Ok primers! 

Before you start snapping up new shades in eyes lips etc, start with the right canvas!

Summer is a time that light coverage is ideal!

Though most tinted moisturisers i have tried just make the face look oddly dark while giving no coveragn c!

This isnt ideal as we wouldnt bother with any base if our skin tone was perfect!

Ok my guide to who suits which Primer & Anti shine

ANTI SHINE &

PRIMERS

ANYONE WHO HASNT TRIED THESE AS THEY THINK THEY ARE JUST ANOTHER FAD OR SOMETHING THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY IS TRYING TO GET YOU TO BUY YOU ARE WRONG!

WHAT ARE ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES AND WHAT THEY DO?

SMASHBOX FIRST MADE THE TRANSISION FROM PHOTO STUDIO'S (ITS VAST AND ONE OF BEST IN LA!) BY SELLING ANTI SHINE GEL!

SB CREATED IT AS HOT STUDIO LIGHTS MEANT POWDERING DOWN MODELS AND A LIST STARS THIS OFTEN IT WRECKED THE LOOK. THUS THE COST WENT UP IN STUDIO TIME +++

So SB Make-Artists came up with Anti shine gel

This gem is applied after moisturiser (if needed) and before Primer. Or i find mixing the anti shine with photo finish primer is best. Also only apply where you know you need it! ANTI SHINE is also available in a compact. Its the same as the gel used before makeup though this is solid and is to treat any shine through the day! So you need never trowl on powder to correct shine all day ever again Fantastic!!  Highly recomended!

PRIMERS

The classic is photo finish foundation primer (listed in sale) What does it do? Well it isnt a face lift in bottle! Though it does reduce lines, helps hide large pores and is full of anti oxidents! Helps keep make-up where it should be! has a mattifying effect for non oily skin types though not enough for oily skins without the anti shine! Texture is oil free gel that feels like silk! You dont have to wear Make-up to wear this!

TREATMENT PRIMERS

These have a white top.

There are apricot ideal for anyone with spider veins and uneven skin tone.

Next is Green This suits anyone with a ruddy or who blush easily (though you will still need a foundation! The green wipes out red is the thinking behind this!

NEXT LAVANDER this is ideal for olive skin tones and asian skin tones!

Again as before the lavender wipes out yellow hues! (yes i do have few so ask)! this isnt sold by QVC in the UK!

Other SB Primers

BRONZING PRIMER!

NEW THIS YEAR! This offers a lovely slight tint to the skin! It looks very dark though when applied it goes on as a soft bronze sheen!  it also gives a sutble luminousity to the skin!

THE LASTEST OUT IN UK

SPF 15 FOUNDATION WITH Dermaxyl IN THE HIGHEST AMOUNT POSS! This takes primers to a whole new level! with anti age-ing that with regular use you will see improvements  thats on top on the instant results!?

brand new not yet released is STARLIGHT WHITE PRIMER

A whole new idea in primers! This again is white top so treatment! Its for hyperpigemtation dark marks or freckles to normal people lol Basically it works on sun danage! This is not yet out. Though here now! This is for someone who wants results. You will get them if you apply daily and keep up spf + keep out of sun! If you dont intend to do this then dont buy! If you will then I highly recomend it!

Well Guys thats face primers your first step! or complete step!!

Though i must mention the PRIMER PEN WITH DERMAXYL IN A very high concentrate! Its much more than just a primer in a pen! It can be applied over make-up and will have instant results as well as long term results when used regulaly!

Next primers for the eye and the lips and lids!

Lid and lip primer!

This is an item i wasnt sure of as i tried a long time ago! Though in this heat its ideal keep any lipstick where you want it and use the other side for the UPPER EYES THATS WHY I DIDNT SELL IT BEFORE AS I DIDNT WANT YOU LOVELY LOT USING IT UNDER THE EYE AS A LITTLE DRYING!

LASTLY EYE PRIMER  i PRIME / AGAIN A NEW PRODUCT SINCE WRITING THIS GUIDE IS PHOTO OP UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER 7.5MLS

I Prime

This was new out last year and in a compact ideal for anyone who has dark circles under the eye and includes on one side photo finish solid primer on the other side a concealer (at the moment i only have shade 3 goes upto 9 though 4 wont suit fair skin tone. I have found this is fab for spots on a dry skin type you know that pesky spot that you still get even after you have lines!!!!! excelent on dry skins!

Photo Op under eye lightner Brightener This is fantastic mush like YSL Touche Elat (if spelling is incorrect i am sorry i am just so tired!!)

This has natural skin improving ingredients is 3 times the size as YSL and it will reduce your lines and correct under eye colour and comes with a little brush and a tube. just apply to end side of the under eye and blend! no one will ever guess that for whatever reason you didnt get 8 hours sleep in the last few months! Wonderful again

So sweet ones Thats prime time!

Once you know which you want you can move on to foundation and beyond!!!!!!!!

I hope i have been a little help with understanding why Smashbox is so popular and why the trade adore it!

This is the first step in a vast range by smashbox I am happy to go over more if wanted! Though i do think the first step of make-up is so often missed. Leaving allot women wondering why after all the effort their make-up doesnt look naturally improved! Deal with the underlying problems before having fun with colours and the lastest Ltd ed lil palattes.
