)bill bryson was born in iowa in the fifties, and moved to england in the seventies he lived here for years with his wife and four children in north yorkshire. they recently moved back to america.
i was introduced to bill bryson some time ago, after recieving a book of his as a present.
his lastest offering is superb, it flows wonderfully, with tales of his childhood to which we can all identify.
mostly, i found myself almost in tears, from laughing at his recollections of days gone by.
but also identifying, with his thoughts and wit.
one to read.
his books include, notes from a big country, down under and neither here nor there.
