I have owned this car from it been 1 year old.I change the oil at 5000miles no matter what. I always use fully synthetic (oil filter at 10000).I have taken it  to Spain at least 6 times now towing a 17 ft caravan and 5  people inside it, the car that is and 5 bikes on the roof.No room for the kitchen sink. Noisey when cold but it goes quiet when warmed up coming up to 110000 miles will cuise at 80 all day has no oil leaks and uses very little oil i believe the oil cooler really helps this engine. 10 years on still a nice car to drive.
