if you buy an older xantia(93-98)take a bit of time and examine the front struts.a common fault is for the strut top mounting to rust.if its bad the strut will push through the bonnet!the mounting is £130 in thedealers,but about £30 from local breakers.so look carefully when you buy a xantia,its about a 2hour job to replace the part.
